A few weeks ago Sawyer got to go on his first real field trip, and Sheridan and I got to go, too. We bundled up for a cold day at Sally Gap Pumpkin Patch in Williamsburg, Kentucky. We carpooled to the farm which I think ended up being the kids’ favorite part of the whole day. Once we got there, the classes rotated around to different activities, such as a barrel car ride, storytelling, face painting, playground, corn maze, animal feeding, and a hay ride. They had a great time running all around. I think they enjoyed the corn maze and hay ride most of all. I was just glad we didn’t get thrown off the wild hay ride. Before we left, Sawyer got to pick a pumpkin which he meticulously selected. What a fun trip!
