Much to Sheridan’s dismay, she is now four! Two days before the big day, she cried so hard and told me that she didn’t want to be four because I couldn’t hold her anymore then. I don’t know where she got that idea, but she was crushed about it. Here are a few pictures we took for her birthday. I think she was a little tired when we tried because it didn’t go very smoothly. When I told her I wanted to have pretty pictures of her to give everyone, she cried then, too. What can I say? She’s clearly my daughter. She settled down for a few, and her favorite ones where those that included Teddy. She is a sweet and sensitive young lady. She is a great nurturer and care-taker, and she is especially good at “doctoring” when someone is sick or hurt. She is SO vibrant, expressive, and dramatic. She makes me laugh all the time, and I wonder what goes on in her head. She is very social and tender-hearted. She is predictably unpredictable, fearless (except about bugs), and a lot of fun to be around. She is also quite stubborn and independent, not to mention a little sneaky and wily sometimes. She constantly amazes me. I love you, Sheridan!
